Senior Postdoctoral/Assistant/Associate Professor

The National laboratory of Molecular Medicine at Peking Union MedicalCollege has an opening position at SeniorPostdoctoral/Assistant/Associate Professor level in Professor DahaiZhu’s group.

A Ph.D./MD with strong background in one or more aspects of cellbiology, molecular biology or biochemistry will be essential and workingexperience with KO and/or transgenic mice will therefore be anadvantage. The job holder will use the knockout and transgenic micerecently established in Dr. Zhu’s group as disease models to investigatethe molecular mechanism of heart disease and diabetes caused bymetabolic stress.
Candidate should be highly motivated, and enthusiastic, capable ofthinking and working independently. Good communication skills, includingthe presentation of scientific data and interactions with otherscientists, are necessary to this post.

The laboratory is situated in the central part of Beijing and isequipped to a high standard and also is supported by an effectiveinfrastructure, which provides excellent research environments.
