Acta Pharmacologica Sinica [ APS, ISSN 1671-4083(Print), 1745-7254 (Online)], published monthly, is the official journal of the Chinese Pharmacological Society and Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
APS is the only journal listed in the Science Citation Index (SCI) core board in Chinese Pharmacology and Pharmaceutics. The SCI impact factor of APS was 1.397 according to the 2006 Journal Citation Reports. Meanwhile, APS is listed in Current Contents/Life Sciences, BIOSIS, CA, Index Medicus, Excerpta Medica, MEDLINE, Research Alert, SciSearch, Kagaku Gijutsu Bunken Sokuho (Japan), and Реферативный журнал (Russia), as well as in all the domestic medico-pharmaceutical index systems as the core journal.
